Warm weather, the open ocean... rum. What's not to like? Pirates of the Caribbean is a fantastic franchise, and it's always fun dressing up like a pirate. Have a look at some of the cosplays we have worked on

Recently, we had a fun commission drop into our inbox! This was partially from scratch, partially customized, to suit the clients desires.
Bandana was made from scratch. Hand dyed cotton with a hand printed detail (we had to make the stamp for it too).
The wig was customized. Cut, plucked and styled.
The coat was made from scratch. There was a little creative licence used here, as the client wanted a warmer coat for the UK weather (and its shower proof!) so it's made from wool rather then linen. The buttons were difficult to find, and when we found them there weren't enough - so we cast 8 out of foam clay. All buttons hand weathered.

The sash was sourced from 2 scarfs
The baldric and belt were made from scratch. Hand detailed, dyed, weathered, cut, softened, oiled and riveted. Buckle from ForgeBender on Etsy (also known as PiratePrince)
